The Teacher was painted from a photo I took circa 1972. It portrays our grandfather and one of my younger sisters. The background portrays my grandparents living room, in the 70's, so I reflected that colour palette. To make the viewer feel they are seeing the moment, right then.  I accept commissions from your family photos.
